This combination makes the round much more effective than the competition's regular rock salt. It is used for less than lethal force. Due to the light weight of the shot material it should be used at distances of not less than 20 yards or more than 50 yards from your target. Upon target contact the rock salt crystals will break the skin and create a stinging sensation and the pepper compound will burn like hell's fire.
